1906
Who: Young, Portuguese electronic music maker, with loads of talent.
Where: Portugal
Why: With recent releases like Fire Works and No Way (1906 Remix), what’s not to like?
À Tous
Who: 21 year-old french electro and heavy disco producer from the states.
Where: US
Why: Heavy bass lines, resampled disco tracks, and powerful drum kits. Sounds a bit like classic french electro greats, eh?
Beerlover
Who: “All for free in the descriptions” (and maybe a lover of beer?)
Where: Brazil
Why: The Brazilian has MASSIVE future funk and disco releases/reworks, which completely reinvent the genre. Also, that American Gangster Edit is nuts.
Chrome Canyon
Who: Mr. Morgan Z
Where: US
Why: His level of nu-disco production is surely on par with other popular artists in the genre. Tobtok, Oliver Nelson, and Robotaki - you guys better watch out for this one.
FASTBACK
Who: ?
Where: France
Why: This one is a bit mysterious. But the rate at which this guy puts out quality SebastiAn-esque french electro is astounding. That’s right, I said SebastiAn.
FERD
Who: From what I hear, Drivepilot’s twin brother? (Just kidding).
Where: France
Why: He produces some wicked metalelectro with similar taste to Drivepilot, himself. If you’re into heavy basslines, distorted guitars, and phat drums, tune in.
JANSKI Beeeats
Who: We don’t know much other than the fact that he makes multi-genre bangers.
Where: France
Why: HE MAKES MULTI-GENRE BANGERS. Okay, but really, the kid has some talent. His tunes have that same punk rock/electro feel that MSTRKRFT is so famous for, but he also has a wicked indie side too (that oddly sounds a bit like Linoleum).
Jerry Folk
Who: 18 year old Norwegian bringing funk back to life!
Where: Norway
Why: This guy is making waves, and what’s better is that he’s only 18. For as much attention as he’s getting on Soundcloud, we feel he’s underrepresented elsewhere, so show him some respect and check out his tunes!
Linoleum
Who: Just a french dude making some #technomusic.
Where: France
Why: Why? Why not? His production is intoxicating, reinvigorating, and captivating to say the least. Give Ignition and Obnoxious an earful and you’ll see.
Mr. Moustache
Who: Mr. Dominik Novak
Where: Czech Republic
Why: If you listen to the quality if this dude’s discography over the past several years, you’ll see why he deserves more support. From disco to french house to electro, this guy is the full package! I’d recommend listening to his FR I., FR II., FR III., and FR IV. to get a better understanding of what I’m saying.
Soul Machine
Who: Behind Soul Machine is a hidden French Musician who travelled for so long between instruments and music styles. He’s been involved in various projects and bands through the years, exploring 70’s Rock, Metal, Dub and Trip Hop.
Where: France
Why: Soul Machine “offers a very unique style of music, a perfect equation gathering all he experimented before.” He really couldn’t have said it better.
Starcadian
Who: Brooklyn-resident who “makes ear movies.”
Where: US
Why: Starcadian doesn’t write tracks. He writes stories and takes you on wild adventure - each one is different and there’s always a surprise.
